A warm, sweet, and fluffy Peanut Butter Banana Mug Cake made in minutes — the ultimate comfort treat for late nights, busy days, or cozy cravings.

  • Total Time: 4 minutes
  • Yield: 1 mug cake 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ ripe banana (mashed)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp flour (all-purpose or oat flour)
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 23 tbsp milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Optional: 1 tsp sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar-free)

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana directly in a 10–12 oz microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add peanut butter and mix well.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, and milk until combined.
  4. Mix in sweetener, if using. Do not overmix.
  5. Microwave on high for 60 to 90 seconds. Start with 60 seconds and add time if needed.
  6. Let cool for 1 minute before eating.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness. Avoid overmixing or overcooking to prevent a rubbery texture. Customize with chocolate chips, nuts, or protein powder as desired.
