- 1 pack instant noodles (ramen, rice, or soba)
- ¾ cup water or broth
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- 1 egg (optional)
- Optional toppings: chili oil, scallions, grated cheese, kimchi, hoisin or sriracha, toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Break up instant noodles and place in a large microwave-safe mug.
- Add ¾ cup water or broth and microwave uncovered for 1½ minutes.
- Stir, then add egg if using, and microwave another 45–60 seconds.
- Drain excess water if needed.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and any desired chili flakes or sauces.
- Top with optional ingredients like scallions, sesame seeds, cheese, or kimchi.
- Microwave an additional 15 seconds if needed, stir, and serve hot.
Notes
